Boyd Bros. Proudly Supports Children’s Hospital Toy Drive

Boyd Bros. Transportation is committed to serving both our drivers and our community. For five years now we’ve partnered with Children’s Hospital of Birmingham for their annual Christmas toy drive. As a trucking carrier dedicated to our community, we do what we can to support those in need of some well-deserved joy.

The Birmingham Children’s Hospital toy drive supplies presents for kids who are experiencing extended hospital stays due to health concerns. The holiday season can be a financial stressor for families who have given their resources to supporting the journey of their child’s medical care – this toy drive makes sure the holidays will be full of magic for those who need it the most.

The toy drive is supported by the generous members of the Greater-Birmingham community. Throughout the months leading up to Christmas, hundreds of toys are donated, collected, and stored before being donated in time for the holiday season. In 2021 alone, we were proud to support the donation of over 300 bicycles.

After all the toys have been collected and are ready to be donated, Boyd Bros. does what we do best: ensures a safe and timely delivery! This year we stepped up our game like never before and participated in two deliveries of toys. On Friday, December 9, we donated a truckload of toys to help support local foster families as they work tirelessly to make Christmas morning special. Then on Friday, December 16, we donated another batch of toys to Children’s Hospital of Birmingham.

Boyd Bros. is honored to have spent the last five Christmas seasons working behind the scenes to bring joy into the lives of children during such a special time of the year. We can’t wait to see what we’ll do next year.
