Boyd Bros. Nominated Among 2023 Best Fleets to Drive

Post Date - Oct 14, 2022

We’ve had exciting news at Boyd Bros.! Once again, our amazing driving force has nominated us as one of North America’s Best Fleets to Drive for, a survey and contest that identifies for-hire trucking companies providing the best workplace experiences for their drivers. This is the 15th year for the contest sponsored by the Truckload Carriers Association and CarriersEdge.

We’re always so proud and thrilled to hear the news that Boyd Bros. has been nominated because it means that our drivers formally recognize our company culture, programs, and working environment.

The nomination process for the contest began this fall when company drivers and owner operators were asked to nominate carriers that operate 10 trucks or more. After confirming the validity of the nominations and the trucking companies’ desire to participate, CarriersEdge will now complete in-depth interviews with Boyd Bros. leadership and staff as well as those of other participating fleets. Through the process, they will collect thousands of driver surveys, and identify the most successful programs and emerging trends across the industry.

According to CarriersEdge, at the end of the evaluation process, the top 20 highest scoring fleets will be identified as Best Fleets to Drive For and announced at the end of January 2023. From this pool, companies will be divided into "small" and "large" carrier categories. Two overall winners will be then recognized alongside fleets who will be entering the program's Hall of Fame at the TCA Annual Convention, March 4-7, 2023, in Kissimmee, Florida.

We look forward to the next step in the process and will keep you posted on the results as they relate to Boyd Bros. For now, we want to say a huge and humble THANK YOU to the drivers and operators who nominated Boyd Bros. for this honor.
