Boyd Bros. Transportation has always been committed to providing our elite team of CDL-A drivers with all the resources, support, and advantages they need to unlock a successful and satisfying truck driving career. How do we do that? By putting our people first. With that in mind, we’ve taken the step to establish a Chaplain Assistance Program (CAP) through Corporate Chaplains of America (CCA).
CCA is a non-denominational and non-sectarian organization that works hard to provide professional drivers with consistent support. As a non-profit headquartered in Wake Forest, North Carolina, CCA has created a support network full of qualified chaplains that care for everyone, regardless of race, creed, gender, or religious preference. Boyd Bros. is so excited to welcome two of those chaplains, Austin Cruce and Philip Box, to our team!
We know the benefits that come with giving employees access to workplace chaplains and we want our drivers at Boyd to enjoy those benefits. We are so excited to see what CAP will do for our drivers! CAP will allow us to better support our drivers during all parts of their journey – including when things get difficult. Austin and Philip are outstanding chaplains, well-equipped with the tools to support you through personal challenges, family crisis, or other difficulties 24/7, and with the assurance of full confidentiality.
Austin is primarily based out of our Birmingham terminal, while Philip is based out of our Clayton terminal. But they are both only a phone call away! We know that difficulties can come at any time and want to be sure our drivers have support whenever they may need it. One of the notable benefits offered by CCA is their 24/7 availability, backed up by a commitment to return your phone call within 15 minutes, day or night. Through CCA and CAP, Boyd Bros. is better equipped to better support you.
Your carrier should care about every step of your journey – in and out of the driver’s seat. Feel like you could use better support? Connect with Boyd Bros. today!
